The Role
This permanent part-time position will work between our kitchen and servery locations on site at Rooty Hill. In this position, you will display excellent customer service, demonstrate your ability to meet individual customer needs, and grow your career within the Aged Care and Hospitality sector.
- To create a warm and friendly dining experience for residents and their guests
- Food preparation, table set-ups, serving meals, clearing tables, cleaning
- Safe hygiene practices and commitment to HACCP standards at all times
- Able to follow clear direction and individual requirements
- Clear verbal communication is highly important
Essential Criteria
You will have a strong focus on safe work practices and be able to adapt to a range of individual resident needs.
- Demonstrated experience in customer service and/or food preparation
- Knowledge of Safe hygiene practices and HACCP standards
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Able to learn quickly and sense of urgency
- Certificate in Safe Food Handling preferred but not essential
Please note the successful applicant must be willing to undergo a Criminal History Check and have three (3) Covid injections documented by the time of commencement.
