Centre Based Respite

A centre based respite program for older people living at home.

Coming to our Wellness Centre allows people to create friendships and build support networks by connecting with one another and pursuing similar interests. With individualised activities and flexible transport, our program allows clients to have control over how and when they participate and what activities they participate in.

The Respite and Wellness centre provides:

  • Social Support A supportive, safe environment that allows our clients to meet other people and enjoy some social interaction.
  • Relaxation Complementary relaxation programs such as massage and meditation to help people find a sense of inner calm.
  • Social and Recreational activities Interesting and fun activities including art and craft, cooking and weekly outings that assist in increasing social interactions and improving overall wellbeing.
  • Exercise Programs Exercise programs are available on a fee for service basis.

Fees

The Australian Government subsidies a range of aged care services in Australia. If your circumstances allow, it is expected you will contribute to the cost of your care. If you are able to contribute towards the cost of your respite or social support program, we offer a range of payment options that we can tailor to meet your financial circumstances.

Any fees or subsidies will be discussed and agreed upon before you join our service so you have the opportunity to clarify any concerns.
