Our Lady of Consolation Aged Care & Services is an independent not for profit company whose primary focus is on delivering quality residential aged care and home care packages in western Sydney. We also provide a range of other services, home modification, home maintenance, seniors’ health and fitness and social housing for older people.
We have an exciting opportunity for a talented and enthusiastic person to join the Home Care Packages Team as a Care and Services Coordinator.
We are looking for a Registered Nurse who enjoys working closely with clients and their families and who is keen to give elderly people an alternative to residential aged care. This position is part of a cohesive and experienced Home Care team dedicated to giving the best possible service to our clients.
Our model of care revolves around regular contact with both our clients and our staff. So the successful applicant will be someone who genuinely likes elderly people, who has clinical experience, is flexible and adaptive, and wants a degree of autonomy and responsibility in a job. They will also enjoy oversighting a team of care staff and will understand the need to provide support and advice. The Care and Services Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and supervising a range of services that support client care including staff oversight and some administration tasks. Your contributions to clinical governance and your ability to backup other coordinators will be invaluable as a member of the Home Care Team.
The successful applicant will work closely with all Care and Services Coordinators and the Operations and Development Manager to provide support and backup where required.
This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday, with some occasional flexibility required around weekends and public holidays. A generous remuneration package including full use of a company car will be negotiated.
