The Respite and Wellness Program at Our Lady of Consolation provides tailored programs that encourage carers and the person they care for to participate in a range of activities to enhance their health and wellbeing.
The Respite and Wellness Program offers individual exercise programs for each client, tailored by our accredited exercise physiologists. Focusing on any areas of weakness and personal goals, the program is completed in our on-site gymnasium at Rooty Hill. The fitness-based Respite and Wellness program brings together health, exercise and rehabilitation to improve mobility and independence allowing people to continue to live confidently at home.

The Australian Government subsidies a range of aged care services in Australia. If your circumstances allow, it is expected you will contribute to the cost of your care. If you are able to contribute towards the cost of your respite or social support program, we offer a range of payment options that we can tailor to meet your financial circumstances.
Any fees or subsidies will be discussed and agreed upon before you join our service so you have the opportunity to clarify any concerns.
