Position Overview
We are looking to employ an enthusiastic and motivated Physiotherapist to join a team that already includes physiotherapists, occupational therapists, exercise physiologists and sport scientists.
Key Responsibilities
Working in a state-of-the-art facility, incorporating a gymnasium and treatment rooms, and you will be part of a team delivering:
- Assessing new and existing residents within our residential facility
- Entry level individual and group exercise programs for residents
- Targeted individual and group exercise programs for residents with particular chronic health conditions
- Individualised restorative programs to help particular residents restore their functional abilities
- An innovative restorative respite program that allows people living at home to have a short stay program and then return home with their function improved
- Pain management for our residents
Essential Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree with demonstrated post degree experience
- Strong focus on evidence-based practices
- Current registration with AHPRA
- An appreciation for opportunities and challenges within an innovative program
- Enjoy being part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Experience in Aged Care is highly desirable
